Using BreadSync

Import and back up your tracker

Use an OddsJam CSV to bring outside bet history into BreadSync. Use BreadSync’s JSON backup when you need a restorable copy of the tracker itself. They are different jobs and the files are not interchangeable.

OddsJam CSVAdds OddsJam bet history after an editable review. It is not lossless and it does not detect a bet you imported before.
BreadSync full backup (.json)Restores tracker records by their original IDs.It does not delete unrelated records already in the account.
BreadSync spreadsheet (.csv)Opens every BreadSync bet in Excel or Sheets for records and taxes. It cannot be restored or uploaded through the BreadSync backup option.

Import an OddsJam CSV

  1. 1In OddsJam, open Bet Tracker → My Bets → Export → Download CSV.
  2. 2In BreadSync, open My Bets → Import, leave Source on OddsJam, and upload the .csv file.
  3. 3Review every field. Edit a cell in place or hover a row to delete it.
  4. 4Read skipped-row warnings and the detected Site Credit total, then click Import … Bets once. Compare a sample afterward.

Do it in BreadSync

Import Bets

Review and import an OddsJam CSV, or restore a BreadSync backup.

Open Import Bets Free with an account

BreadSync recognizes an OddsJam row as Site Credit only when market_name is “Bonus” and bet_name is “Cash”. It adds that amount as a Site Credit deposit, so it also enters profit reporting. Other cash deposits and withdrawals are not reconstructed from this CSV.

An unmatched sportsbook name creates another Bankroll book. Normalize names first—FanDuel and FanDuel Sportsbook differ. Imported bets also lack BreadSync game links, hedge identities and detailed parlay-leg grading; link open bets afterward for scores or automatic grading.

Watch out: OddsJam import has no duplicate check. The same file twice creates a second copy of every bet and detected Site Credit. Continue with a file that contains only new rows.

Export BreadSync data

In My Bets, click Export. Choose Full backup (.json) before deleting data, moving to another account or making a large repair. It preserves sportsbooks, deposits, withdrawals, bets, parlay legs, hedge groups, game links, bonus balances, rollover and balance overrides.

Spreadsheet (.csv) gives one row per bet for a worksheet. It omits the other tracker tables and is not restorable.

Restore a full backup

  1. 1Open My Bets → Import and set Source to BreadSync backup (.json).
  2. 2Drop the .json file. Check its export date and the displayed counts for bets, parlay legs, books, deposits and withdrawals.
  3. 3Click Restore … records and keep the tab open until BreadSync returns to My Bets.
  4. 4Check books, balances, a parlay and a hedge afterward.

Restore is a merge by original record ID. A matching ID is overwritten with the file's version; restoring the same backup again does not create another copy. Other IDs stay untouched, and the records restore into the account currently signed in.

BreadSync validates the JSON before restoring it. A save can still stop after some records are written; retrying updates those same IDs instead of duplicating them. The limit is 200 MB and 250,000 rows per tracker table.

Watch out: restore is not “replace everything.” For a clean copy, back up the account, use Delete all my tracker data, then restore the intended JSON.

What “Delete all my tracker data” removes

The danger zone under the BreadSync backup source requires typing DELETE. It removes bets, parlay legs, sportsbooks, deposits and withdrawals, but not the login or subscription. Verify a full JSON backup first and store it privately.

If the goal is only to correct a few rows, edit them in My Bets or Bankroll instead of clearing the account. The reconciliation steps in Tracking are the safer starting point.
