How BreadSync Calculates and Verifies

BreadSync's guides connect betting mechanics to worked examples and tools. This page explains who is responsible for that guidance, how the estimates work, and how to read our update and verification dates.

Calculations and worked examples

Calculator results use the odds, stakes, and settings you enter. American odds convert to decimal odds as 1 + odds / 100 for positive odds, or 1 + 100 / |odds| for negative odds. Cash-bet returns include the stake; a stake-not-returned bonus bet pays winnings only.

For a bonus stake B at decimal odds D, the bonus-win return is B × (D − 1). To balance that against a cash hedge at decimal odds H, the hedge stake is B × (D − 1) / H. The free bet calculator lets you compare both outcomes using your own odds. Fees, stake limits, odds changes, and different settlement rules can change the result.

Examples illustrate the stated inputs, rather than live available bets. Read the explanation beside each calculator for its assumptions and any rounding.

Offer estimates and ordering

The public offer board sorts offers by headline value multiplied by an estimated conversion rate. The baseline model uses about 70% for bonus bets awarded win or lose, and about 50% for first-bet insurance or bonuses conditional on winning. Some offers have different mechanics and their own rate. Public cash estimates are rounded to the nearest $25.

These estimates help compare offer types. They do not include a live pair of odds or calculate the bankroll needed for every hedge. A headline bonus amount, estimated cash value, qualifying stake, and total bankroll are different figures. Use the linked guide and calculator to size the actual bets.

What verification dates mean

An offer's “last verified” date records when its information was checked against the sportsbook's own website. A copy edit or site release does not advance that date. Offers without a verification date, or with checks older than 30 days, are labeled unconfirmed on the public board.

Offers can differ by state, account eligibility, and promotion. Check the sportsbook's current terms for qualifying stakes, minimum odds, excluded markets, expiry, and payout conditions before using an offer. State guides link to the applicable regulator so you can check licensed operators directly.

Content updates and corrections

“Content updated” records a change to a page or its shared editorial content, not a fresh check of every offer mentioned. Blog publication dates remain the original publication dates. We do not display a separate review date when one is not recorded.

If you find an incorrect calculation, outdated term, or unclear explanation, contact BreadSync on Discord with the page URL, the relevant inputs or source, and what you believe needs correcting.
