YouTube Affiliate Guide
Video is the best place to promote a tool like this, because the thing that sells BreadSync is watching it do the work. A screenshot cannot show the moment you find a two-point gap between books. Thirty seconds of screen recording can. This guide covers setup, the formats that convert, and where the link goes.
Read the Affiliate Overview first if you have not. It covers the principles that apply everywhere. Also on X? There is an X guide too.
Who you are actually talking to
Not sharps. Someone already running a full bonus-conversion operation across twenty books has tooling. Two audiences below that are worth your time, and they need different videos.
People already doing this by hand. They bet regularly, have claimed a few promos, suspect they are leaving money on the table, and are tracking it in a spreadsheet. They convert fastest because they already feel the pain the tool removes. Show them workflow.
People who bet but have never heard of bonus conversion. Much bigger group. They have claimed a “bet $5 get $200” offer and punted the bonus on a parlay. They are not looking for a tool because they do not know the strategy exists. Teach them the strategy and the tool follows. This is where the volume is.
The one group to avoid is people with no bankroll and no real betting intent, chasing free money. They churn immediately and cost you the recurring commission. The difference is not experience level, it is whether they actually bet.
Channel setup
- Link in the description, above the fold. YouTube truncates descriptions after roughly three lines on mobile. If your link is below that, most viewers never see it.
- Pinned comment with the link. Descriptions get ignored. Pinned comments get read, and people reply to them with questions you can answer publicly.
- Channel page link. Catches people who find one video, like it, and go looking at your channel days later. Attribution runs 30 days from the click, so this is not wasted.
Description and Pinned Comment Templates
Steal these. Put your own link in and adjust the voice.
Description, first three lines:
The tool I'm using in this video: [your link] Free tier includes the bet tracker and calculators, no card needed. In this one I'm converting the [book] bonus and showing the math on what it's actually worth.
Pinned comment:
Few people asked what I'm using for the odds screen. It's BreadSync: [your link] The tracker and calculators are free forever if you just want to try it without paying. Happy to answer questions below.
Five formats that work
The over-the-shoulder workflow
4-8 minYou have a bonus bet to convert. Screen record the whole thing: open the converter, find the hedge, place both legs, log the result. Talk through decisions as you make them. Do not edit out the part where you check something twice.
Why it works: It is the closest thing to letting someone try the product. Viewers who do this work see their own problem being solved in real time.
The bonus conversion explainer
8-14 minTake a promo running right now at a book everyone knows. Explain why a $200 bonus bet is worth roughly $140 rather than $200, find the hedge on screen, place both sides, log it, then say plainly what can go wrong. Assume the viewer has never heard the term.
Why it works: Your biggest audience does not know this strategy exists, so they are not searching for a tool. This video moves them from 'I don't need software' to 'I need software for this' in one sitting, and it ranks for years.
One game, every book
2-4 minPick a game people care about this week. Show the same market priced across the odds screen, best to worst. Say plainly what the difference is worth on a typical stake.
Why it works: Line shopping is the easiest concept to demonstrate and the hardest to argue with. The spread between books is just visibly there.
The comment question
3-6 minTake a real question from your comments: clearing a rollover, which books are soft on a niche market, whether a promo is worth claiming. Answer it properly, with the tool open as part of the answer.
Why it works: You are producing something the audience explicitly asked for, and the tool shows up as a means rather than the subject.
Concept explainer
6-12 minWhat hold actually is. Why a bonus bet is worth roughly 70 cents on the dollar rather than a dollar. How limiting works and what triggers it. Teach the idea properly and mention the tool once.
Why it works: Ranks in search for years and brings in people who go looking for a tool on their own, which is the highest-intent traffic you can get.
The honest review
8-15 minCover what it does well, what it does not, and who should not buy it. Name the price early. Say out loud that at $197/mo it only makes sense above a certain volume, and show the rough math on where that line is.
Why it works: Counterintuitively converts better than a positive-only review, because it is the video people search for when they are close to buying and looking for a reason not to.
Titles and thumbnails
The pressure to put a dollar figure in the thumbnail is real and you should resist it. Income claims are the single fastest route to having your content pulled and your partner account terminated, and a title that promises a number the video does not deliver tanks retention anyway.
Specific and concrete beats big and vague. “The price difference between DraftKings and five offshore books on the same game” will outperform “How I make money betting” with the audience you actually want, because it self-selects for people who care about the mechanism.
Where the free tier fits
The bet tracker, bankroll tools, and calculators are free forever with no card. On video that is a much softer close than asking for a subscription: tell people to go track their bets for free, and let the numbers on their own betting make the argument for the paid tools later. They stay attributed to you for 30 days from the click, and once attributed the commission follows them whenever they upgrade.
A note on volume
One video that genuinely helps people will out-earn ten that mention the link in passing. Because commission is recurring, a single well-ranked explainer that brings in a handful of subscribers a month compounds quietly for years. Most partners who do well here have a small number of good videos, not a large number of mediocre ones.
